About the Item

These sturdy workbenches with a construction of sheet steel and wooden drawers were used by the Czech army from the 1940s onwards. As a result, they are now only found in poor condition and can only be used in living spaces after extensive restoration. This vintage workbench from a Czech factory features a sturdy frame made of sheet steel and wooden drawers. The drawers can be locked in place and securely closed. The wooden parts have been finely sanded, glued, and treated with hard wax oil. The old sheet metal has been polished and preserved with a special lacquer.
