About the Item

This well designed and proportioned Art Deco Streamline Three Tier Chrome and Glass Bar/Serving Cart with Removable Trays originates from the United States, Circa 1935. Features a streamline construction of tubular chrome elements that beautifully curve and nest into one another to form the frame of the piece, extending forward in three distinct tiers that support glass trays, also fitted with U shaped fittings of chrome that allow them to be removed for use as individual serving trays. There is a curved handle to push and navigate the cart, which rests on castors also in chrome providing easy movement and relocation. The slightly blue tint to the glass pairs wonderfully with the reflective chrome forming the frame and fittings of the piece, which along with the design and proportions creates an elegant, open, and sleek Serving Cart. This piece will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
