An exceptionally rare and unusual original Russian folk painted rolling tea table / dessert cart / side table. circa 1920
Russia, early 20th century, hand carved, painted, and laqueured solid wood two-tier frame, in Neoclassical inspired folky Empire style with nods to period Art Nouveau - Art Deco taste, rectangular polychrome decorated tabletop, apron, and lower tray style shelf with raised three-sided pierced gallery, flanked by turned supports and shaped side panels, raised on square tapered legs terminating in spade feet affixed with inset roller ball casters.
Signed; retaining original stamped maker's mark to underside: "M" atop "O" in dotted circle over "Russia"
