American mahogany Federal two drawer hinged work table with a ratcheted white pine writing surface, fitted interior for ink wells, original brass sandwich glass knobs, lower connecting shelf, and resting on turned bulbous barley twist legs with the original brass casters, early 19th century. Secondary wood consist of tulip poplar.
