About the Item

A fine example of early English bamboo craftsmanship, this Late 19th to Early 20th Century side table features a leather-embossed top and bamboo frame in a beautifully aged two-tone finish. The quality of the joinery and the patina of the underside wood suggest it’s an authentic antique rather than a later reproduction. • Refinished bamboo frame in warm honey and espresso tones with a gently aged surface • Original embossed leather top and lower shelf, both cleaned and conditioned while retaining wear consistent with age and use • Elegant arched stretcher supports and flared legs characteristic of Victorian and early Edwardian bamboo furniture • The underside wood grain and construction technique are consistent with pieces produced between 1880–1910, during the height of the Aesthetic Movement’s fascination with exotic bamboo furniture • Sturdy, level, and ready for continued use — a rare find that blends Victorian charm with Old Florida character Dimensions: 19.5ʺ W × 29.25ʺ H Please zoom in on all photos and reach out with any questions happy to help.
