About the Item

A fine quality regency period mahogany writing table Having two fitted drawers to frieze with original Turned knobs raised on elegant x framed end Supports with original brass castors (This charming little writing table oozes elegance and class and is such a sweet, useful size. It his of the perfect form to use in any room, for almost any purpose working as both a writing table to sit at or just a side table. It is nicely finished all the way round meaning it can also stand in the centre of a room. In terms of condition it is good. The leather is of high quality and is old though not original, so therefore it has various old marks, scuffs and scrapes but nothing uneasy on the eye in this respect. The piece has had no restoration to speak of other than a wax and polish and retains both it's original turned knobs and it's original brass castors).
