Fabulous 1980's Val Rossman original one-of-a-kind framed Neighbors abstract expressionism artwork, pastel painting on paper.
Hand-signed by the artist on the lower right front and titled on the back.
This unique artwork is a form of lyrical abstraction that is both dynamic and intuitive. It features a playful, almost "cartoony floating worlds" quality that has been compared to artists like Joan Miro. It is filled with energetic, "graffiti-esque" marks and a unique, personal visual language of nonobjective forms that are not meant to be symbolic.
The composition is built in layers, with a luminous and rich blue background that provides a deep atmospheric space. Various forms and lines, in unexpected and rich hues, seem to "swim" or float to the surface, creating a dynamic sense of movement and depth. The artwork, while complex in its layered creation, achieves a "perfect harmony" where every element feels as though it has always belonged there, offering the viewer a positive and engaging experience to enjoy a journey through color, mark, and space.
The artwork features vibrant colors, combining various shades of blue, purple, green, orange, pink, red, and yellow.
It is presented in a simple, natural light maple wood frame with glass. The artwork within the frame is set off by a wide white mat, which provides a clean and elegant presentation that allows the artwork itself to be the focal point. This exquisite artwork is a breathtaking piece of collectible art.
