About the Item

Set di due bozzetti di moda inizi 1900 di probabile provenienza francese, raffiguranti eleganti dame a passeggio. I due schizzi sono disegnati a china ed acquerello su carta con dettagli policromi. Uno reca in basso una firma illeggibile. Di particolare rilevo l’eleganza di queste incredibili silhouettes, evocate con tratti decisi e sicuri del fashion designer, del professionista della moda dell’epoca. Questi disegni provengono da una dimora privata milanese e si presenta in buono stato di conservazione. Il fogli sono privi di montatura e non incorniciati. Le misure si riferiscono al solo passe-partout, il bozzetto solo misura 19 cmdi altezza e 12 in larghezza. Nelle creazioni di moda, i nuovi modelli vengono presentati sotto forma di bozzetti creati a mano prima di essere effettivamente tagliati e cuciti. Il fashion designer crea dapprima un figurino, un’immagine femminile che riproduca la forma dell’indossatrice, una figura dall’aspetto realistico, in posa, magari inserita in un contesto quotidiano, come questa figura a passeggio. Questi raffinati disegni art nouveau e art déco oltre ad essere molto rari e da collezione, ideali per l’arredo di un atelier, riflettono un mondo elegante, prospero, ricco di prospettive e contribuiscono a ricostruire le affascinanti trasformazioni avvenute nel costume dell’epoca, laddove lo stile della moda femminile, specchio dell’emancipazione della donna, va adeguandosi ad un abbigliamento più funzionale e sportivo.
