About the Item

Rare extra-large (cm 59 x 85) antique watercolour of capital from a collection of architectural details of Florence monuments painted in Italy in the middle of 19th Century. Black mat with the gold hand-painted band and handcrafted black and a gold leaf frame. These watercolours were commissioned to document the buildings that would be destroyed during the "modernization" of Florence. The frame is new. Artecornici design produces hand coloured art prints, artisan frames, lightings, decorative accessories and furniture. All our products are designed and produced in Florence by Italian master craftsmen. Each print is an artisanal Florentine product, reproducing images of the European 18th and 19th centuries with the same printing techniques (engraving with a star press), the golden age of prints, which are then finished and watercolored exclusively by hand The richness of our work lies in the ability to make our customers' requests our own, creating products with personalized, unique, and precious creations, renewing our collections year after year.
