Large framed seascape in the style of Vernet: a stormy landscape with men pulling a boat towards the beach, waves crashing on the rocks, and in the background a lighthouse and a small harbor. Period late XVII/early XVIIIth century Important 19th-century gilt stucco frame. Good condition: some paint loss, old restorations, and relined canvas. Dimensions with frame: 127.5 x 163.5 cm. Dimensions without frame: 92 x 130.5 cm.
