About the Item

Expressive handcrafted copper wall sculpture featuring a stylized horned figure with a rich naturally aged surface and verdigris patina. Constructed from hand-hammered and assembled copper sheet, the piece demonstrates traditional metalworking craftsmanship and a strong sculptural presence. Aquired in Prague and attributed to a Czech artist or workshop, dating from the 1970s-1980s. The strong expressive character and almost ritual-inspired form are reminiscent of Central European brutalist metal art of the period. The object was later converted into a wall light, adding a functional element while preserving its sculptural qualities. An unusual and highly decorative statement piece suitable for collected interiors, gallery spaces, hotels or contemporary settings.
