"The Great Force of Nature" by Elvio Becheroni is a majestic sculpture, part of the series "Amazonia - Disenchanted Forest," embodying the artist's deep respect for nature and, at the same time, his heartfelt denunciation of the devastation suffered by the Amazon rainforest. Becheroni, a distinguished exponent of Italian abstractionism, has always sought, through his art, to create a synthesis between the anthropomorphic and the natural, where every element of his work is intrinsically connected to another, forming a complex visual and conceptual dialogue. This sculpture, crafted from Pau Brasil wood, a noble and now rare material, is the result of a careful recovery by the artist and his team, salvaged from the ashes of fires and deforestation that have ravaged Brazil's forests.
