Set of 4 Salpol Armchairs by Angelo Mazzola in collaboration with Missoni

2400 €per set|IVA inclusa

Informazioni sull’articolo

Set of four lounge armchairs designed by Angelo Mazzola and produced by Salpol, upholstered in their original Missoni fabric. These pieces represent a perfect example of late 20th-century Italian design, where fashion and furniture merge into a unique and recognizable language. The Missoni fabric is not a simple covering but the central element of the project: a diagonal geometric composition built on a warm and sophisticated palette ranging from beige and brown tones to subtle dusty shades of blue. The structure is fully upholstered and stands out for its compact and sculptural volume. The lines are sharp, almost architectural, yet balanced by generous cushions that ensure comfort and a welcoming feel. The low and enveloping seat, combined with full and wide armrests, creates a strong presence in the space while maintaining great usability. What makes this set particularly interesting is the perfect coherence between form and material: the Missoni fabric defines the very identity of the armchairs, transforming them into true decorative elements as well as functional ones. Good condition with evident signs of time consistent with age and use. The fabric shows widespread wear, slight chromatic variations, and areas of use, which nevertheless contribute to creating an authentic and very charming vintage patina. The set retains a strong aesthetic presence and a lived-in character that further enhances its uniqueness.
