About the Item

Pink Garnet stones set in 18k yellow gold in a Scottish jasper stone carved in a triangular shape in a nod to the 1980's. Jasper is a form of chalcedony and incredibly lightweight. The earrings are from the British design house of Deakin and Francis. They have an illustrious past and often made jewellery for the heritage jewellery brand of Asprey. Featuring a both a post and a French clip back, these earrings are highly unusual and may have been specially commissioned for a client. Jewellers since 1786, Deakin & Francis® designs & makes the world’s finest cufflinks, signet rings, gentlemen’s accessories, ladies jewellery and bespoke commissions. Across seven generations, Deakin & Francis continue to build on the heritage, brand and family values that have been created over the past two centuries. As a well-respected British brand, Deakin & Francis produce fine quality, hand-made jewellery in precious metal, vitreous enamel and gemstones. Known for their wide range of cufflinks, as designers and manufacturers of jewellery, Deakin & Francis also provide a full bespoke service. This can involve creating special one-off pieces, or adapting existing, often inherited jewellery into desirable keepsakes to cherish. Founded in 1786 by Benjamin Woolfield, Deakin & Francis have over 230 years of heritage. As England’s oldest manufacturing jewellers, the Deakin & Francis factory remains in the same building today as it began in, dating back to the Industrial Revolution. Seven generations later, the business is today managed by brothers Henry and James Deakin. Following in their forefathers’ footsteps, Henry and James Deakin are both fully qualified gemologists. James studied at the Gemological Institute of America and is a graduate jeweller gemologist and designer, while Henry studied Gemmology at the International Gemological Institute in Vicenza and is a graduate gemologist. Through world wars and recessions, changing fashions, seasons and trends, the brand has adapted to the demands of their clients. Today, Deakin & Francis’s steadfast team of highly skilled and meticulous craftsmen continue to deliver beautifully designed products of the highest quality.
