These elegant earrings by Atelier Munsteiner will give an elegant touch to any outfit. Made of 18 carat brushed yellow gold and green tourmalines with a total of 4,04 carats in a typical extraordinary "Munsteiner Cut" they are a timeless masterpiece. One of a Kind About the artist: „Designing the stone” is the motivating maxim at family owned Atelier Munsteiner: Bernd Munsteiner built the studio in Stipshausen (near Germany´s „gemstone town“ Idar-Oberstein) in 1973, which has been an oasis of creativity ever since. Expertly selected minerals and stones have been turned into valuable unique objets d'art by means of new cutting styles. And together with a small team of master gem cutters and goldsmiths, Tom and Jutta Munsteiner create new and exciting designs in stone and jewelry every day. Bernd Munsteiner was the first contemporary artist to go off in search of the aura of the crystal. For more than 40 years now, he has been turning transparent stones, in particular, into images, objets d’art and sculptures. Tom Munsteiner´s cutting artistry breaks with the traditional concept of the facetted gemstone not only because of the size of the stones used. Instead his work must be interpreted as a creative reflection of the essence of the crystal and his message to the world, which allows a profound insight into the substance of the crystal and reveals its poetic nature. Jutta Munsteiner attempts in a very sensitive manner to explore very cautiously the feelings which jewellery could provoke in the sophisticated customer who lives in the present.
