Born as a continuation of the major collection ‘Curved Curves’, these earrings distil the essence of large sculptural forms into small, intimate adornments. Their gentle translation from sculpture to jewellery evokes a quiet purity and a modern expression of simplicity and timeless grace. Four finishes are available to choose from: textured, oxidised, yellow gold vermeil and rose gold vermeil. As prices vary depending on the finish, please contact us for more information. Handmade with care and finished to a refined standard. Your item will be wrapped in acid-free tissue and presented in a recyclable, high-quality branded cardboard gift box, ensuring it arrives safely and beautifully. About the artist. Sheng Zhang is a UK based award-winning contemporary jewellery and silversmithing designer maker. His designs are usually influenced and inspired by minimalist art, contemporary architecture and geometrical form. Associating with boundary, volume, silhouette, capacity, shadow and subtle detail, his practice concentrates on exploring the connection of internal and external, positive and negative space in his jewellery, vessels and objects. Sheng’s work demonstrates the aesthetics of minimal style, pure form and the ethos of moderation. He questions the relationship between the work and its surroundings as well as the role of function in a conceptual work of art. Embracing both traditional silversmithing skills and modern approaches, each piece of Sheng’s work is a result of a carefully controlled and purposely structured making process. Sheng has won multiple prestigious awards for his work, including Young Professional Award given by Netherlands Silver Museum, Silver Award from The Goldsmiths' Crafts and Design Council and New Designers Silversmithing Award from The Goldsmiths’ Company. His work is exhibited internationally and is included in the permanent collections of Victoria and Albert Museum and The Goldsmiths’ Company. Sheng has worked to commissions for both individual clients and establishments including Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance.
