First Collection, 2026: Michelangelo Dreams of Texas Chainsaw
The historical figure of Michelangelo is disrupted by an American slasher film: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974).
Michelangelo, a historical figure obsessed with perfection, dreams of a Texas chainsaw and destroys his own work. His sculptures, marked by this inexplicable rupture, remain suspended in time and transform into jewelry. In 2026, a young girl puts on the pieces and experiences the same sensation that overtook Michelangelo. Accumulated bodies, anatomical yet unsettling, twisted. As the dream invades her mind, the forms begin to shift. Leather and shadow take over the scene, giving rise to a corrupted version of those ancient remnants.
The collection is visually divided into three parts:
"Michelangelo": perfection
"Dreams of": rupture
"Texas Chainsaw": transformation
About
AMBOS TOUKO is a creative house founded by siblings Alejandro and Laura Pérez in Spain. Its work exists at the intersection of art, sculpture, fashion, and narrative, creating objects suspended between function and artistic expression.
Every work belongs to an evolving fictional universe inhabited by the Toukoi: faceless, androgynous beings that exist beyond time, geography, and identity. Through them, each collection becomes a chapter within a broader mythology, where memory, transformation, cinema, and philosophy converge into sculptural form.
Rather than approaching objects as accessories, AMBOS TOUKO conceives them as narrative artifacts: pieces that carry emotional, symbolic, and physical presence simultaneously. Material, form, and storytelling become inseparable, allowing each work to exist both as a functional object and as a sculptural statement.
Through this approach, AMBOS TOUKO creates objects that are not simply worn, but embodied.
