The pierced decorated oval-shaped frame is ornamented with an impressive central yellow gold collet set 3.91ct cabochon cut garnet. The feature gemstone is encompassed with twenty-four pavé set Dutch cut diamonds. The shaped foliated border is embellished with thirty-four further pavé set Dutch cut diamonds, completing the design. This brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening.
