About the Item

A gorgeous antique Art Deco Sautoir necklace. This necklace is just everything Deco! Early 1920s it is made from black silk ribbon and fastens with a japanned barrel clasp fastener. It has beautiful blackened steel filigree links and butterscotch celluloid barrel beads, running down to a single ribbon drop with two beaded tassels. It has everything you need in an Art Deco necklace and is full of rich decadence, original pieces like this one are very hard to come by. Condition: Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some wear to the ribbon, general surface marks.
