About the Item

A stunning, fine and impressive antique 0.80 carat Colombian emerald, seed pearl, 2.26 carat diamond and platinum pendant; part of our hand crafted antique jewelry collection. This stunning, fine and impressive antique emerald pendant has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated frame is embellished to the centre with an impressive 0.40ct oval faceted cut Colombian emerald. The symmetric frame is further ornamented with a swag comprised of twenty-five seed pearls and embellished with a total of sixty-seven pavé set diamonds in a combination of Old European and eight cuts. The feature drop suspends from an inverted arched setting, ornamented with a secondary collet set 0.40ct octagonal cut Colombian emerald. The finely detailed upper setting bears thirteen impressive pavé set diamonds, completing the design. The pendant suspends from an 18' platinum chain via two ring loops to the apex setting; the chain secures to the reverse with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening. The pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This impressive antique pendant and chain is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card, in addition to an emerald report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*. This beautifully hand-crafted pendant is one of the finest of its type you could hope to acquire. This meaningful antique pearl and emerald pendant with diamonds makes an exceptional gift for milestone birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, Mother's Day, christenings or significant family celebrations. Its antique provenance, fine craftsmanship and timeless design also give it remarkable heirloom appeal, making it a treasured piece to be worn, admired and passed down through generations. NOTE: * This documentation accredits the Emerald originating in Colombia (Colombian) and certifies that the gemstone shows minor to moderate amount of oil in fissures.
