About the Item

The Aslan Necklace takes its name from the Turkish word for lion. From ancient to modern times, Aslan has always been associated with strength and endurance. The power and toughness of the Aslan and the vibrant energy of the Carnelian stone are combined to create The Aslan Necklace. Like a frame, the hand sculpted Carnelian surrounded by 22k gold vermeil on 925 sterling silver body outlays a magnificent show of strength of the Aslan. To compliment the artisanship on the stone the intaglios have been embellished with a gold leaf. This design features an open-back gemstone setting for full connection with the stone’s natural properties, and can be personalized with a custom engraving. Dimensions of pendant: L: 1.9 cm / 0.7” - W: 2 cm / 0.8” Carnelian has countless benefits from inspiring self-care, confidence, and empowerment to infusing your aura with uplifting, vibrant energy. It’s known as the sunset stone, which boosts creativity and motivation. Carnelian sharpens perception and enhances analytical skills. It’s also known to be a part of many beliefs and practices. In order to be effective carnelian is suggested to be contacted with skin. The craftsmanship of the necklace is carefully designed in-line with the gemstone’s properties as the back of the necklace is completely open allowing the gemstone to contact the wearer. Birthstone: August – September The intaglio depiction of the gem is of a lion. We feel that the necklace's genuine ancient beauty is the result of Ece London's meticulous hand carvings of each piece (entirely from wax), which results in a unique item. Every design has a special backstory. This necklace is hand sculpted and completed by craftsmen in Istanbul, Turkey's Grand Bazaar.
