Antique Art Deco 1.20ct Sapphire and 0.96ct Diamond Platinum Cocktail Ring

A stunning, fine and impressive antique French 1.10 carat Basaltic sapphire and 2.45 carat diamond, platinum Art Deco cocktail ring; part of our diverse collection of antique rings. This stunning, fine and impressive antique sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated, Art Deco style navette design is ornamented with an impressive feature baguette cut sapphire, bezel set in subtle relief to the center of the design. The feature sapphire is flanked on either side with two substantial pavé set Old European round cut diamonds, totalling 0.99 carats, accented with two smaller eight-cut diamonds to the outer point of the design. Twenty impressive channel set French cut blue sapphires surround the central arrangement. The bordering sapphires are encompassed with fourteen fine and impressive Old European cut diamonds, each individually set within the fenestrated, pierced decorated rim. The elevated, tapering ring shoulders are ornamented with a further four diamonds and integrate with the fenestrated design, blending seamlessly with the engraved ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the shank with the French import mark for platinum (masked man). The ring is supplied with two independent diamond grading certificates for the feature diamonds, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the sapphires and supporting diamonds. NOTE: * The Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) lab has verbally accredited the sapphire originating in Basaltic deposits and verifies that the gemstone shows no indications of heating; non-heated sapphires are a scarcity. This stunning, fine and impressive antique sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated, Art Deco design is ornamented with a cluster of seven pavé and claw set eight-cut diamonds. Four individually claw set baguette cut sapphires emanate from the central cluster. A further eight individually four claw set eight-cut diamonds are displayed in pairs alternately between the sapphires. The multi-stranded ring shoulders are ornamented with a rope twist decoration and amalgamate to form the plain ring shank.
