About the Item

A striking and finely composed Art Deco ring, dating to circa 1930´s, showcasing a richly coloured natural ruby set within an elegant geometric platinum mount. At its centre rests an oval-cut ruby of vivid pinkish-red hue, displaying a lively internal character that speaks to its natural origin. The principal stone is framed by a sculptural arrangement of calibré-cut rubies, meticulously shaped to form a continuous panel of saturated colour—an iconic and highly sought-after design element of the late Art Deco period. Encircling the composition, a border of finely set round brilliant-cut diamonds adds brilliance and contrast, each stone individually set with delicate millegrain edging, highlighting the exceptional craftsmanship of the piece.
