About the Item

Signet intaglio Ring with " W " or "M" letter engraved on natural dark orange colored Carnelian stone measuring 11mm x 9mm x 2.8mm deep / ca. 4.5 ct. Well done hand carving that makes fine impression on soft plasticine or seal wax. Back side of the stone is open. Hollow shoulders parts with carved ornaments. Set of Swedish import hallmarks,no year marks. Design ids typical for 19th century's first half. Unisex type,will look great on Men or Women if the size is right. Nor rerecorded to be worn on a little finger or beside any other rings because of sensitive shoulders. Size : Ø 7 US / 17.35 mm. Sizing is possible. Weight : 2.45 grams In fine used condition, minor deformations, stone with minor scratches on the surface. > Note : We sell from EU. It is often difficult or impossible to get an accurate characteristics of the weight , color and nature of inclusions without removing the stones from the settings to be weighed and examined and doing that may damage the piece.
