A fine and impressive antique French 0.53 carat diamond and platinum solitaire engagement ring; part of our antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This impressive French diamond engagement ring has been crafted in platinum. The 0.53Ct old European round cut diamond is held in relief in an eight claw / prong, pierced decorated, elevated basket setting embellished with a fluted border. The elevated, pierced decorated ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the platinum hallmarked shank. The exterior of the shank is struck with the French dog's head hallmark. This antique solitaire ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate. Condition The diamond ring is fine quality, set with a very high color graded old cut diamond. This engagement ring is a very good gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition, the dog's head hallmark to the exterior shank is very clear.
