About the Item

Antique Ring with pyramid / dome shaped openwork crown in 14K Yellow and White Gold decorated with 27 natural pink Rubies. Likely European made in 1920s- 1930s. Hallmarked 14K. Crown is Ø 18mm and 13.5 mm high. Stones from top > down : central stone is old European diamond cut Ruby Ø 3.5 mm / ca.0.25ct. Eight old European diamond cut Ø 1.75 mm / ca. 0.03ct each. Eight pear cuts 6mm x 3.75 mm / ca.0.5ct each + eight old European diamond cut Ø 1.75 mm / ca. 0.03ct each.Total weight ca. 4.75ctw. Color of Rubies : Pink with faint tint of Purple. All Rubies demonstrate flaws and inclusions typical for untreated natural stones. One pear shaped Ruby has a natural flaw on across its surface that doesn't go through and doesn't reach its back side. Size : Ø US8.5 / 18.19 mm. Can be sized. Weight : 6.9 grams.
