About the Item

This old ring has a navette or boat-shaped crown with a Silver top on solid 14K Rose Gold set with marquise cut natural Blue Sapphire surrounded with 16 old diamond cut Diamonds on the crown and flanked with 2 more diamonds on the flanks. XIX - early XX century. No hallmarks. Metal tested solid 14K Rose Gold. Crown with stones measures 22 mm x 8.5 mm and 4 mm deep. Sapphire 11 mm x 4 mm x 2.75 mm deep / ca 1 ct. Sapphire is of medium /darker Blue variety with angular color zoning and inclusions well visible under x 10 magnification - this stone is natural and untreated. Each diamond of old European cut Ø 2.25 mm / 0.06 ct each x 18 = 1 ctw. Color ca. F, G / VS Size Ø 5.5 US / 16.1 mm. It can be sized. Weight: 3.4 grams. Used condition. Some patina on metal. Sapphire shows very minor wear to facets. All diamonds are intact, one stone is a rose-cut diamond, likely replacement / visible only under magnification. > Most of the items that we sell are not new at all if not stated otherwise.
