About the Item

Orloff of Denmark; 925 Sterling Silver Ring set with a 0.55 carat Natural Cambodian Blue Zircon. This piece has been meticulously hand-crafted out of 925 sterling silver. In the center sits a 0.55 carat blue zircon mined, polished, and cut in Ratanakiri, Cambodia. The Zircon, in our opinion is a stone that can be coupled with anything and still produce a fine piece of work. Therefore we have paired it with itself, to bring forth a beauty that has been overlooked by the majority of the industry for far too long. These gems have a strong blue hue with a medium tone and vivid saturation, making them 'Ocean Blue Zircons'. Natural Zircon, which is a mineral that forms naturally deep in the Earth's crust, unfortunately tends to gets mistaken with the diamond imitation 'CZ' or 'Cubic Zirconia', a man-made mineral, synthesized in a lab through the mixing of zirconium oxide powder and metals such as magnesium and calcium.
