Indigo waves churn as triangular forms move through the space. Deep blues and whites swirl together, creating a sense of motion and depth, while bright red accents punctuate the composition, adding contrast.
About the Artist
Artist Paul Kirley draws inspiration from his architectural and geometric interpretation of the natural landscape. He begins with detailed black-and-white sketches, selecting those suitable for larger-scale development and focusing on the impact of lines and basic values. Born in Massachusetts into a family of architects, designers, and artists, Paul embarked on his artistic journey at the early age of two. He continues to carry their influences and interests in landscapes and buildings to this day. In the fall of 1987 he moved to California to attend the Art Center College of Design. Inspired by architecture and a geometric translation of the natural landscape, he began to develop a signature style of work.
