About the Item

Made in Italy, 1950s - 1960s. This wonderful square piece is made by Giovanni Poggi and is hand modeled and painted with an abstract motif with an expressionist inspiration. At that time, many famous artists frequented the city of Albissola, such as Picasso, Fontana, Scanavino, Jorn and many more. The company San Giorgio was part of their journey and Giovanni Poggi , besides being an incredible artisan and artist, is also San Giorgio's owner. This is a vintage trinket bowl, therefore it might show slight traces of use, but it can be considered as in excellent original condition and ready to become a piece in a home. One-of-a-kind. Measures: width: 19 cm Depth: 19 cm Height 8 cm. Order it now!
