Alzatina decorativa di Vincenzo Gemito del XIX secolo. L'alzatina è caratterizzata da un distintivo e dettagliato bassorilievo in bronzo della testa di Medusa, una delle tre Gorgoni della mitologia greca, i suoi capelli sono rappresentati come serpenti e ai lati della testa notiamo la presenza delle ali. La struttura, che presenta un design classico con una base rialzata e un ampio bordo, è in alpacca, una lega di rame, zinco e nichel.
