About the Item

Poor lacquer is a type of decoration typical of eighteenth-century Venetian furniture, which made use of small cut-out prints, incollate sul legno e successivamente rifinite a gommalacca, che passata a più strati sottilissimi donava lucentezza e uniformità al decoro. This technique has also been used to embellish objects, such as dressers and caskets. misure: altezza 12,5 cm larghezza 26 cm profondità 16 cm
