Meticulously enamelled and gilt satsuma box, Meiji Period (1867-1912). Overall very good antique condition, base that the box sits on is a bit slanted. Lid perfect, box some wear to gilt on rim only. Dimensions: Height: 3.5 in (8.89 cm) Width: 5.75 in (14.61 cm) Depth: 5.25 in (13.34 cm) This enamelled and gilt satsuma box would enhance any shelf or table.
