About the Item

A fine blackened wood game box, rosewood veneer inside, and its original colored bone gambling chips (4 different tinting colors). The lid is inlaid with a beautiful Boulle marquetry rococo style cartouche (brass and mother of pearl). A FR monogram is engraved on the shield in the middle of the cartouche. Napoléon III period, mid 19th century circa 1850. The original key is there. Our box is complete.
