This Italian faux bamboo bud vase dates to the 1960s and presents a whimsical Mid-Century interpretation of natural forms through handcrafted ceramic construction. Designed as a four-opening spill vase, the piece combines decorative sculptural qualities with practical use for displaying individual stems or small floral arrangements. Formed as four bamboo shoots of varying heights and angles, the composition rises from a crescent-shaped base finished in marbled turquoise and green tones suggestive of a grassy landscape.
