“The pine still lives”, this is how Barletta remembered his centuries-old giant “Il pino vive ancora”, così Barletta ha ricordato il suo gigante secolare Elegant pair of hand-painted glazed ceramic cruets for oil and vinegar. With their dynamic, tapered shape—typical of 1950s Italian design—these pieces are adorned with expressive brushwork depicting quaint Italian village scenes, bare trees, and vintage street lamps, evoking a poetic and nostalgic atmosphere. Both pieces are marked "Il Pino Italy" on the underside, a name that may symbolically recall the legendary “Pine of Barletta,” an enduring emblem of strength and regional identity.
