About the Item

Large rectangular photo frame in gold-plated 925/1000 sterling silver with translucent enamels fired on guilloche in two colors, in a modern contemporary style. External cm. 18 x 22, internal cm. 9 x 13. Weight g. 548. Ground glass, panel in blue Alcantara. Designed by Giorgio Salimbeni in 2002 and produced at the Salimbeni company headquarters in Florence with entirely manual execution by artisan artists with very thick sheet and large reinforcements suitable for withstanding numerous enamel firings at high temperature at approximately 750 < 800° C. It is a new object that has never been used but is considered vintage because it was built more than 20 years ago. The hallmarks struck to the underside of this fine masterpiece in Sterling Silver include: manufacturer's mark: 391FI metal mark fineness:925
