About the Item

This piece originates from Italy circa 1980. Features eight arms composed of beautiful hand blown Murano elements with beautiful striated white and clear glass hues. The frame is composed of rectilinear elements with cylindrical banding that connects the glass to the frame, curving cylinders house. The sockets the entirety of the piece is supported by a gleaming, polished brass rod and canopy that provide an elegant scale to the fixture. This gleaming chandelier balances delicacy in solidity with extreme precision and excellent use of materials. Elegant, balanced, and sophisticated, this peaceful style well, in a wide array of interiors and settings from mid century modernist to contemporary and minimal spaces. Newly rewired to American standards and height can be adjusted to suit. Accommodates eight candelabra based bulbs, offering 480 watts of light. In excellent vintage condition.
