About the Item

A high quality and extremely elegant pair of Italian 19th century Crystal and Gilt Metal chandeliers. Each stunning eight arm chandelier is centered by a hand blown Glass fut above a central bottom ball flanked by elongated and baluster shaped Glass segments at the top and bottom. The eight scrolled Gilt Metal arms are richly decorated by cut Crystal pendants with various cut and faceted water drop Crystals. The sides of the arms are also embellished with Crystal beads and rosettes, while the arms are joined by attractive swaging octagon shaped cut Crystal garlands. At the end of each arm is the circular saucer which supports the original scalloped shaped Glass bobeche below the electrified candle cup. The arms are adorned with swaging octagonal Crystal garlands that lead to the exceptionally designed top crown. The top of the chandelier is finished with attractive double scrolled Gilt Metal arms creating the elegant crown decorated similarly to the arms with cut faceted water drop Crystals with beads and rosettes.
