About the Item

Lamp sculpture by the artist Albert Tormos; the lamp is signed by the artist at the back. Large size (30 cm/ 11.8 inches high) for the artist’s creations, it brings a warm and refined light source. Albert Tormos is a French artist who died in 1982. He settled his workshop in Saint-Tropez in the 70s. His lamps are made of Luberon stone, a white limestone slightly blond. The lighting system is concealed inside the sculpture and especially the bulb that remains invisible, which makes his pieces so remarkable. Lamp in excellent condition with slight signs of wear consistent with its age. The lamp has been rewired for safety and is working on 220V as well as 110V.
