About the Item

Pair of sculptural chairs designed by Willy Rizzo for Mario Sabot. The structure of each chair is made of 2 thick pannels of curved wood that allow for the creativity of these rounded shapes. It is lacquered in navy blue, its original color, so typical of the 70s. The light brown leather of the seats is in excellent condition, with a superb patina. The combination of colours of the lacquer and leather and the sophisticated shapes make them historical and original pieces from the 70s. Mario Sabot was an Italian manufacturer of luxury furniture, he is the first publisher of pieces designed by Willy Rizzo. Chromed metal, aluminum, lacquer, his productions do not shrink from any technical constraint and demonstrate, 50 years later, a know-how of high quality.
