Armchair "model 83" designed by Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel and produced by S.W. Møbler, a Danish company active after World War II. Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel are among the most relevant designers of the 20th century Scandinavian scene. Active in both furniture design and textile and industrial design, they have helped define an approach oriented toward comfort and the relationship between form and body, with a particular focus on seating. This model, dating back to the 1960s, features a wooden frame with sloping legs and a wraparound back that follows the contours of the seat, creating a continuous shape. Seat and back are upholstered and reupholstered in light-colored bouclé fabric. Manufacturer's mark present on the structure: S.W. Møbler - Vejen, Denmark. Good conditions.
