About the Item

Armchair model "Monterey" designed by Folke Ohlsson and produced by Bodafors in 1962. Oak frame and reupholstered cushions. "Monterey" armchair designed by Folke Ohlsson and manufactured by Svenska Möbelfabrikerna Bodafors in 1962, as documented by the original mark on the frame. The product fully reflects the Scandinavian design language of the 1960s, characterized by essential lines, balanced proportions and great attention to the quality of materials. The frame is made of oak wood, worked with soft profiles and accurate fittings that highlight the craftsmanship of Swedish production. The slightly sloping armrests and open design of the frame lend visual lightness, while the vertically-elemented backrest contributes both stability and aesthetic rhythm to the overall look. The seating system is supported by original Bodafors branded elastic straps, which are visible at the bottom. The button-tufted seat and back cushions have been reupholstered in neutral-colored fabric, retaining the original volumetry. Good conditions. Potrebbe presentare dei segni del tempo.
