Maker: Hynek Gottwald Source: Czechia (Czehoslovakia) Period: 1930-1939 Material: Chrome-plated Steel, Leather The chrome parts have been cleaned and professionally restored. The new upholstery is high quality leather, it's very easy to clean and retains its colours very well even in direct sunlight. Made by Hynek Gottwald, a company credited with being the pioneers of metal furniture. This item features classic Bauhaus design elements. Elements of this style are neutral colors and occasional bright primary colors. Bauhaus designers avoided the fussy and pretentious, looking for clean, modern lines instead. Perfect for a timeless yet modern look.
