About the Item

Elegant set of six dining chairs designed by Mario Sabot and often associated with the glamorous aesthetic of Willy Rizzo. These sculptural chairs perfectly capture the luxurious spirit of Italian design from the 1970s, combining refined materials with bold architectural lines. The chairs feature beautifully curved bentwood frames with a rich warm walnut-toned finish, complemented by distinctive brass seat surrounds and newly upholstered seats in luxurious cream mohair. The combination of wood, brass and soft mohair creates a sophisticated contrast that feels both timeless and distinctly Italian. Their cantilever-inspired silhouette gives the chairs a light and dynamic appearance while providing excellent seating comfort. The newly upholstered mohair seats add a tactile richness and elevate the overall presentation of this rare set. Presented in very good vintage condition with minor signs of age and use to the wooden frames, consistent with their history. The upholstery has been professionally renewed.
