Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this exceptionally rare and super collectable Antique Victorian Hillcrest office swivel armchair with green leather back rest and sculpted seat Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote, please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price. This chair is really quite exquisite, it's the only one of this type I have seen, it has a wonderfully sculpted and patinated seat base, the back rest is heritage green leather, the base has the duel spring tension adjuster bar which was made by Hillcrest, it also has the height adjustable dome, this was the first generation of proper office chairs that had tilt and height adjustment. The movement is signed on both sides The chair has been lightly restored to include a deep clean, hand condition wax and hand polish, it has all the original patina and looks amazing and very traditional Dimensions Height:- 90.5cm adjustable Width:- 59cm Depth:- 78cm Seat height:- 40cm adjustable Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
