About the Item

An Italian carved-wood dining table, with lyre legs and wooden stretcher, from the turn of the 18th and 19th century. This antique table from Italy has a rectangular-shaped top, raised upon a pair of lyre design inspired carved trestle legs, and is braced at the underside of the table with a pair of beautifully curved wooden stretcher bars, creating an elegant belled-arch shape and visual interest. The wood has warm, medium tone with lovely patina and age; a wonderful reflective of it's history and use. There is some slight warping along the table top (please see additional images). This late 18th century Italian table with lyre-legs, is approximately 7.25 feet in length, making it a great dining room or library table option for your home.
