An amazing rustic country French farm house harvest work extension table with nicely aged patina. circa 1840 Provincial France, 19th century, Louis Philippe Period (1830-1848), hand-crafted solid pine construction, having a heavily patinated rectangular plank top, over three dovetailed frieze drawers with brass pulls, rising on turned supports, accompanied by two unfinished leaves, that extends the top to a most impressive nearly 9 feet long! Dimensions: (approx) 31" High, 69" Wide, 28.5" Deep; Extended: 107" Wide Clearance: (bottom of apron to floor) 23" Condition: Great original antique condition with nicely aged patina over the whole. Attractive appearance, the farm table features a heavily patinated tabletop. Retaining original antique character and charm throughout, wear consistent with age and use, including minor scattered nicks, dings, light scratches, stains, marks, and typical imperfections, nothing that detracts from the display or functionality but only adds to the overall aesthetics, authenticity, warmth, and rich historical depth that can only be acquired over very long periods of time. Delivered cleaned, waxed, with hand rubbed patina, ready for immediate use and generational enjoyment

A rustically elegant country French Provincial farm house harvest work table with warm rich patina and refined Rococo styling. circa 1750 Hand-crafted in the mid-18th century, most likely originating in the former Provence / Nice / Alps region of the South of France, a beautiful area near the Italian border and Mediterranean sea. Hand carved of solid fruitwood, executed in period Louis XV taste (1715-1774) with sophisticated Rocaille elements. Featuring a long narrow rectangular five plank boarded top with pleated end, attractive dark rustic patina and desirable overhang; above a simple tall apron with curvacious hand sculpted scalloped edge, rising on elegant cabriole legs.
