A very rare French Majolica oyster platter server with 12 shells on seaweeds, orange starfish on the middle Sarreguemines Digoin unsigned circa 1890. 13.5 inches diameter.

The plate is beautifully hand decorated with a slip applied fish, seaweeds and seashells, then hand painted in bold enamels with a large gilded fish.
